Hitotsubashi Summer Institute (HSI)
Hitotsubashi Institute for Advanced Study (HIAS), through its Research Center for Global Economic Systems (GLECS), has hosted the international research workshop Hitotsubashi Summer Institute (HSI) since 2015 as one of its core activities.
HSI brings together researchers in Development Economics, Macroeconomic Policies, and Microeconomic Theory to share cutting‑edge findings and foster deeper international collaboration. Organized primarily by GLECS, it has grown into a flagship HIAS event, earning strong recognition from scholars in Japan and abroad.
