JER-HIAS-Kakenhi Joint Conference “Macroeconomics and Japan’s Reality: Effects of Monetary and Fiscal Policies”
The Global Economic Policy Research Center (GLECS) will host the JER-HIAS-Kakenhi Joint Conference on Sunday, August 24, and Monday, August 25, 2025, at Josuikai Centennial Hall, Hitotsubashi University. This conference will focus on the theme: “Macroeconomics and Japan’s Reality: Effects of Monetary and Fiscal Policies.”
This event is co-hosted by The Japanese Economic Review (JER) and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (A) project, “Construction of New Uncertainty Indicators and Theoretical & Econometric Analysis of Their Impact on Financial Markets and Macroeconomy” (Project Number: 23H00048, Principal Investigator: Professor Toshiaki Watanabe, Graduate School of Social Data Science, Hitotsubashi University).
Additionally, the conference is part of the flagship event Hitotsubashi Summer Institute 2025 (HSI2025) organized by GLECS.
